So the next step in my setup plans has been to get the OpenID server correctly working on my blog. This wasn’t the easiest, as there is no documentation, but I created a trusted site root via the admin interface, and wrote a small patch to serve the correct header. Talk about fast response, it’s already been applied to trunk :-) Here’s the relevant ticket:
I’ve just installed this new byteflow installation, and it there was some work involved, but I’ve learned what was necessary, and I should be able to help out some others in the process. I’ve written a Gentoo ebuild file that I intend to submit to Gentoo.
The documentation is a bit sparse, but I look forward to getting this set up as my OpenID server, and allow users to comment by OpenID.
